      Hi

I am working on a site indianhomeappliances.in that for search terms such as 'best washing machine in india' appears near the top of the 2nd page of Googl for url https://indianhomeappliances.in/best-washing-machine-in-india/

When looking at what is listed on the 1st page for 'best washing machine in india' I would appreciate any advice/guidance on what else could be done to give the site a final push to get on the 1st page of search results.

I have made more than 60 backlinks along with sites from competitor analysis via moz for this page

Looking at the sites that are on the 1st page I cant understand why many of them are ranking higher than me?

Any insight and plan of attack would be most appreciated from any  search experts on the forum. My website is 2.5 months old.

      Many Thanks

Enhance Content: Make it more detailed and useful.
Optimize On-Page SEO: Improve meta tags, headers, and keywords.
Improve UX: Speed up load times and ensure mobile-friendliness.

            Hi,

I understand your challenge. Getting to the 1st page on Google can be tough. Here are a few strategies that might help:

Content Quality: Ensure your content is comprehensive and engaging. For example, consider adding detailed comparisons or reviews about washing machines. You might also include relevant multimedia, like videos or infographics, to make your content more attractive.

On-Page SEO: Optimize your page with the target keyword “best washing machine in India” in critical areas like the title tag, meta description, headers, and throughout your content. Ensure your page is both user-friendly and search engine-friendly.

User Experience: Enhance the page load speed and mobile responsiveness. A smoother user experience can positively impact your rankings.

Backlink Quality: Focus on the quality of your backlinks. Ensure they come from high-authority and relevant sites. Building relationships with influencers in your niche or using tools like Spotify for engaging content might help improve your site’s authority.

Competitor Analysis: Examine the strategies of higher-ranking pages. Look into their content, SEO practices, and user engagement. Tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush can offer insights into their strategies.

Local SEO: Optimize for local SEO if your target audience is in India. Use local keywords and ensure your site is listed in local directories.

Engagement Metrics: Improve engagement metrics like click-through rate (CTR) and time on site. Engaging content can help with this.

As a side note, you might want to explore how content on Spotify, such as playlists related to home appliances or product reviews, can help drive traffic to your site. Including a relevant Spotify playlist or integrating related content might add value and help attract more visitors.

SEO takes time, so be patient and keep refining your strategy. Good luck, and feel free to ask for more detailed advice!

                hello
Improving your website's ranking on Google requires a combination of strategies focused on both on-page and off-page optimization. Here are some steps you can take to enhance your website's visibility and move it into the top 10 positions:

                1. Keyword Research: Identify relevant keywords that your target audience is likely to use when searching for your products or services. Use tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to find high-volume keywords with moderate competition.

                2. Optimize On-Page Elements:

                  • Title Tags: Ensure that your title tags are descriptive, include target keywords, and are within the recommended character limit.
                  • Meta Descriptions: Write compelling meta descriptions that encourage clicks and accurately summarize the content of your pages.
                  • Headers: Use H1, H2, and H3 tags to structure your content and include relevant keywords.
                  • Content Optimization: Create high-quality, relevant content that addresses the needs and interests of your target audience. Incorporate target keywords naturally throughout your content.
                3. Improve Website Speed: Google considers page speed as a ranking factor. Optimize your website's loading speed by compressing images, minifying CSS and JavaScript files, and using a reliable hosting provider.

                4. Mobile-Friendliness: Ensure that your website is mobile-responsive, as Google prioritizes mobile-friendly websites in its search results. Use Google's Mobile-Friendly Test to check your website's mobile compatibility.

                5. Quality Backlinks: Acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites in your industry. Focus on building relationships with influencers, guest posting on relevant blogs, and creating shareable content that naturally attracts links.

                6. Optimize for Local SEO: If your business targets a specific geographic area, optimize your website for local SEO. Claim your Google My Business listing, optimize your business information, and encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews.

                7. Regularly Update Content: Keep your website's content fresh and up-to-date to maintain relevance and attract search engine crawlers. Consider creating a blog and publishing new articles regularly to demonstrate expertise and authority in your field.

                8. Monitor Performance: Use tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track your website's performance, monitor keyword rankings, and identify areas for improvement.

                9. Social Media Promotion: Share your website content on social media platforms to increase visibility and attract traffic. Engage with your audience and encourage sharing to expand your reach.

                10. Consider Professional Help: If you're struggling to improve your website's ranking on your own, consider hiring an SEO expert or agency with experience in optimizing websites for search engines.

Remember that improving your website's ranking takes time and consistent effort. By implementing these strategies and staying informed about changes in search engine algorithms, you can gradually improve your website's visibility and move it into the top 10 positions on Google.

Most important thing to understand is that when it comes to improving your companies, organic SEO, that it is a slow process very slow, so what you don't want is to rush it because you might end up making SEO mistakes. It's better to implement high quality white hat SEO

Strong spam should be diluted without anchor links. And there will be happiness! Here is my page https://trust-seo.com/zakaz-croud-links/ which is on the second page. I can't figure out why it's not on the first page.

Consolidating product pages during website migration

Hello, We are an e-commerce & content site undergoing a website migration and redesign in the coming months.  We will be getting an entirely new website.  Many of our URLs will be changing: Current URL setup: www.mysite.com/catalog/SKU12345/product-title-here
Future URL setup: www.mysite.com/catalog/product-title-here So we're aware we will be using plenty of 301 redirects to achieve this. Further to this though, we currently have a product page for each configuration of a product - for example, a single-sided bookmark has its own page and URL, and the double-sided version of the same bookmark has its own page and URL.  In our site redesign, we are hoping to consolidate each of these instances into one product page where users can select single or double-sided and the price will update accordingly.  The bookmark URLs would then go from:
_www.mysite.com/catalog/SKU12345/bookmark-single-sided  _(call this URL A for simplicity)www.mysite.com/catalog/SKU67890/bookmark-double-sided  (call this URL B) To (after migrating to the new URL structure for the new site, and the now-consolidated single- & double-sided product pages):
www.mysite.com/catalog/bookmark  (call this URL C) What is the best way to make this transition without losing too much of our SEO value?  I understand there is nearly always traffic loss with URL changes but I'd like to at least minimize the damage as best I can.  We have backlinks and ranks for many product pages so I want to make sure we pass as much of this as we can. (And is this at all further complicated by the fact that URL A & B won't exist on the new site, and URL C doesn't exist on the current site?  Does this impact the use of the 301 redirects and if so, how?) Are we better off to approach this page consolidation after the site migration and treat it as a separate project?  This is something that is important to our user experience, and is definitely a change we want to make. Any advice is appreciated - thank you! I'm a fairly beginner-intermediate SEO so this is all somewhat new but I want to be able to at least convey some understanding to our developer of what we need to do.  I was able to find this discussion (https://moz.com/community/q/merging-pages-and-seo) which describes a similar situation and solutions if we were just consolidating the pages but doesn't quite have the complicating factor of the entire site migration happening at the same time. Thanks so much!

                                        Canonical - unexpected page ranking

We are getting good ranking for an unexpected page, rathewr than the one we were trying to get ranking for. Should we put a canonical on the 'unexpected page' to the page we would like to receive the ranking for - or do we risk losing the ranking? Any suggestions welcomed. Ian

Exact match .org Ecommerce: Reason why internal page is ranking over home page

Hello, We have a new store  where an internal category page (our biggest category) is moving up ahead of the home page. What could be the reason for this? It's an exact match .org. Over-optimization? Something else? It happened both when I didn't optimize the home page title tag and when I did for the main keyword, i.e. mainkeyword | mainkeyword.org, or just mainkeyword.org Home Page. Both didn't help with this. We have very few backlinks. Thanks

Why does Google rank a product page rather than a category page?

Hi, everybody In the Moz ranking tool for one of our client's (the client sells sport equipment) account, there is a trend where more and more of their landing pages are product pages instead of category pages. The optimal landing page for the term "sleeping bag" is of course the sleeping bag category page, but Google is sending them to a product page for a specific sleeping bag.. What could be the critical factors that makes the product page more relevant than the category page as the landing page?

Website Ranks and gets de indexed ??

Hi My website is almost 3-4 months old . Whats strange is that as soon as it get Crawled it ranks for few terms for 1-2 days and all of a sudden gets de Indexed for these same terms or Rank drops like drops from page 5 to page 10 . Nothing shows up in Webmater tools under Manual Action . Assuming its a Algorithmic penalty, How to deal with this kind of stuff. Should I stop working on this site all together ? Or assuming its a New website, google does not want it to rank for medium or high volume keywords ?  What keywords I am after have 300 -2k searches per month .

Do Page Views Matter? (ranking factor?)

Hi, I actually asked it a year and a half ago (with a slight variation) but didn't get any real response and things do change over time. On my eCommerce website I have the main category pages with client side filtering and sorting. As a result, the number of page views is lower than can be expected. Do you think having more page views is still a ranking factor? and if so is it more important than user experience? Thanks

Page A Best for Users, but B Ranks

This is real estate MLS listings related. I have a page "B" with lots of unique content (MLS thumbnails mixed with guide overview writing, pictures etc) which outranks "A" which is a page simply showing MLS thumbnails with map feature included. I am linking from "B" to "A" with anchor "KEYWORD for sale" to indicate to search engines that "A" is the page I want to rank, even though "B" has more unique content. It hasn't worked so far.
Questions: Should I avoid linking from "B" to "A" as that could impact how well "B" ranks? Should I leave this setup and over time hope search engines will give "A" a chance to rank? Include some unique content on "A" mostly not viewable without clicking "Read more" link? I don't foresee many users will click "Read more" as they are really just looking for the properties for sale and do rarely care about written material when searching for "KEYWORD for sale". Should I "no index, follow" A as there are limited to none unique content and this could enhance chance of ranking better for B? When I write blog posts and it includes "KEYWORD for sale" should I link to "A" (best for users) or link to "B" since that page has more potential to rank really well and still is fairly good for users? Ranking for "B" is not creating a large bounce rate, just that "A" is even better. Thank you,
                                        Kristian

Too early? Rebuilt website from .asp to .php... Internal pages not ranking at all!

Am I jumping the gun on expecting results? I recently switched our ecommerce website from .asp to .php (new site went up May 15th) but we did not switch domain names. we seems to be doing better until a few days ago when traffic took a steep drop... (not like we were getting that much in the first place either) I was wondering if I'm doing something completely wrong or do i need to wait longer? Are big swings normal when relaunching a website? am I just being too anxious? The internal pages are getting no juice and I dont know why... I know i need to build on the links to the site?  but am I doing something else completely wrong to see the orgranic search results drop down to almost nothing? I'm really new to SEO and would love if i could get another opinion on http://www.moondoggieinc.com. Thanks! Kristy
